Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels

Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels

Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels brought the claustrophobic board game to 3D first-person perspective. Players controlled Terminators from the Blood Angels chapter, navigating tight corridors and facing Genestealer ambushes. The conversion from turn-based to real-time created intense action.

The campaign followed missions from the board game adapted for real-time play. The first-person perspective created immediate tension as Genestealers attacked from vents and corridors. Squad command allowed tactical control of multiple Terminators.

Vengeance of the Blood Angels demonstrated that Space Hulk could work as an action game, not just a tactics adaptation. The first-person approach would influence later games like Space Hulk: Deathwing.
