Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a cooperative first-person action game developed and published by Fatshark. Released in March 2018, it expands the successful formula of its predecessor in every direction. The story continues during the End Times, but now the heroes fight not only against Skaven but also against the Rotblood Chaos warband. The combination of these two enemies creates even more chaotic and varied combat.

The revolutionary career system gives each of the five heroes three different specializations. Marcus Kruber can play as Mercenary, Huntsman, or Foot Knight, each with their own abilities and playstyles. These fifteen different careers ensure enormous variety and allow teams to complement each other optimally.

The missions are more ambitious and varied than in the predecessor. From forests to fortresses to Skaven underrealms, the fight leads through impressive environments. Graphics have been improved, and enemy variety has increased significantly. Chaos Warriors require different tactics than Skaven, making gameplay more dynamic.

Vermintide 2 has become one of the most beloved cooperative games of its time and continues to receive new content to this day. DLCs have added new careers, weapons, and missions. The Winds of Magic expansion even brought Beastmen as a third enemy faction. The game established Fatshark as a leading developer of Warhammer action games.
