Warhammer: Battle March

Warhammer: Battle March is a real-time strategy game released in 2008 for Xbox 360, serving as an expanded console port of Mark of Chaos. Developed by Black Hole Entertainment, the game brings large-scale Warhammer Fantasy warfare to consoles with additional content including a new playable faction. Armies clash across the Old World in battles where tactical positioning and army composition determine victory.

The gameplay features real-time tactical battles with large armies composed of infantry, cavalry, and monsters. Players command units in formation, utilizing terrain advantages and flanking maneuvers to overcome opponents. Hero units lead armies with powerful abilities and can challenge enemy heroes to dramatic duels. The console interface adapts the RTS experience for controller play.

The Dark Elves join as a new playable faction alongside the Empire, Chaos, Skaven, Orcs, and High Elves. Each faction offers unique units, abilities, and visual styles reflecting their tabletop counterparts. Campaign modes follow different factions through storylines of conquest and survival in the war-torn Old World. Multiplayer enables head-to-head battles between commanders.

Battle March expanded the Mark of Chaos experience for console audiences, delivering strategic Warhammer Fantasy warfare without requiring a gaming PC. The game showcases the scale and spectacle of Old World battles with detailed units and destructive combat effects.
