Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is a top-down arcade shooter developed by THQ Digital Studios UK. Released in 2011, small squads of Space Marines fight through Ork spaceships in fast, cooperative missions. The game was a budget title that offered solid twin-stick action.

The gameplay is fast and direct. Up to two players in local co-op mow down hordes of Orks. Various Marine classes—Techmarine, Librarian, Vanguard Veteran, and Sternguard—offer different weapons and abilities for tackling the greenskin threat.

The presentation is compact but effective. The top-down perspective enables overview of the chaos. Power-ups and special weapons keep the action varied. Missions are short but intense.

Kill Team wasn't a full-price experience, but it provided entertaining co-op fun. It included a code for exclusive content in Space Marine, making it a natural complement for players who owned both games.
