Eisenhorn: Xenos is an action-adventure game developed by Pixel Hero Games. Released in 2016, the game adapts Dan Abnett's beloved novel trilogy, putting players in the role of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn, one of the most famous characters in Warhammer 40K literature. The story follows the first novel of the series with its complex plot full of intrigue and investigation.

The gameplay mixes exploration, dialogue, and combat as players investigate heresy and xenos threats. Eisenhorn can use various weapons and his psychic powers to overcome challenges. The investigative work of an Inquisitor stands in the foreground—collecting clues, interrogating suspects, and uncovering the truth behind sinister conspiracies.

The presentation attempts to capture the atmosphere of the novels with familiar locations and characters from the books appearing throughout the game. Voice acting gives the figures personality, even with the modest production values. The dark corners of the Imperium come to life through detailed environments.

Eisenhorn: Xenos received mixed reviews for its limited gameplay mechanics but was appreciated by fans of the novels for its faithfulness to the source material. It remains one of the few games that directly adapts a well-known Warhammer novel, offering fans a chance to experience Eisenhorn's investigations firsthand.
